Ben Melli serves as the Director of Student Ministries at CPC Millbrae. He works with both the High School and Jr. High students. The son of missionary parents, Ben grew up in various parts of Germany until he moved to beautiful Salem, Oregon to attend Western Baptist College (now Corban college) where he double majored in history and youth ministry. During the summers in between school and for a few years after graduation, Ben worked as a counselor, worship leader and assistant director at a junior high camp for Mount Hermon (Redwood Camp) in Santa Cruz. It was during these summers amongst the Redwoods that this German-raised Oregonian captured the heart of a girl from a distant place called "the Bay Area" who was also working at Redwood Camp in between her years of Bruin bliss. Ben started working for CPC as the high school director in 2006 and he and Kristin were married in 2007. They have a wonderfully lazy cat named Lucy (not pictured). Ben loves playing music with friends, board games, chocolate milk, and sports. He also loves smart people because he married one.Ben Melli
