Tim Drisdelle,
at the ripe old age of 5, honed his skills like so many before him, pounding
away the hours in front of the family piano. Although in Tim's case, it
probably didn't hinder his creative inspiration any by having a view of Nova
Scotia's dramatic rocky shores, just outside his window. Tim, now dubbed
"Timo" by close friends, began to emerge as a prolific
Singer-Songwriter. He then went on to use his skills as a Music and Vocal
Arranger, experienced Worship Leader, and a very in demand Choir and Music
Director.
He currently works extensively with writers, and musicians from around the world. His vision is to bring together cross-cultural partnerships, building bridges by merging talents, in an effort to unite communities globally, using "Music and Art." Tim carries forward this vision with his own music, and understands the innate connectivity of all artists and musical genres. "We've all got to link up, and give a voice and a platform to one another's talent and art...music really is like The Universal Language. It breaks down barriers, knows no colors or boundaries, and resonates within hearts without prejudice, or exclusivity. I love the connection point I can make with people through my music; it’s so real and tangible to me. It’s a way to share life with the people around me – and it’s a way to reveal hope and a reminder that there is...always hope.”
Tim has a clear call to work with the local church in leading and inspiring powerful Worship that is both relevant, and accessible…no matter what stage people may be at, on their journey of faith. Tim speaks of his current assignment in Worship Leadership, “When we are given a chance to truly experience God’s power and Presence, it changes us forever. This is my simple goal when I have an opportunity to use my gift to assist others in Worshipping God. I want to extend freedom and courage to draw closer to Him. Worship is something that is timeless, and open to every person who will take part. I am so blessed to partner and serve with CPC Millbrae, in Worship.”
Tim now spends his time between California, Nova Scotia, and Nashville (or somewhere in between!) and serves as the Worship Director at CPC Millbrae.
