The Student Life Team would like to invite you to a parenting seminar on Saturday, March 13 from 9 am to noon in the Multipurpose Room at CPC Foster City. Our focus for this seminar is shepherding the heart of your teen. “Shepherding your child’s heart means helping them understand themselves, God’s work, the ways of God, how sin works in the human heart and how the gospel comes to them at the most profound levels of human need. It also involves helping them understand their motivations, goals, wants, wishes and desires. It exposes the true nature of reality and encourages faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Paul Tripp) The Student Life Team hopes to offer encouragement and tools for parents as we team together to impact the lives of students for Jesus Christ. Be ready for a morning of teaching, discussion, encouragement and prayer. There is a $5 donation at the door on Saturday morning to cover the cost of materials. The Student Life Team is Sandy Hughes, Pastor of Student Ministries, Rob McIlvoy, High School Pastor, Darcie Gripp, Jr. High Director, Ben Melli, Millbrae Student Ministry Director and David Misson, High School Intern. A team of over 40 high school students, 20's and families from CPC are going to the Dominican Republic June 22-29. To raise funds for this missions trip, we are holding a garage sale on March 6.

Haitian Relief Fund
CPC's mission partner, Jackie Perez and her organization, G.O. Ministries, have set up a Haitian relief fund called "G.O. Help Haiti'. Go to their website, www.go-ministries.org and click on the link to donate online. You can also send a check to G.O. Ministries with "Help Haiti" in the memo line. All monies received will go towards helping the relief efforts in Haiti. Please send all checks to:

High School Winter Retreat
Attention all high schoolers who like snow ball fights, hanging out with really cool people, tubing down a hill, and worshiping God. This retreat is for you. The high school ministry will be staying in a cabin up in Lake Tahoe Jan. 15th - 18th. You have the option for skiing/snowboarding, tubing, or just hanging out and watching the snow fall!
